Many women who decide to study university have to leave their places of origin because there are no academic opportunities in their towns. At this stage of life, they separate from their loved ones to live in a place close to the university. Without prior training, they must learn to manage money, eat different things and get used to a new life style. The objective of this research was to investigate the students' experiences after leaving their place of origin, identifying pleasant and unpleasant experiences from the perspective of being a woman. The research is qualitative, with an inductive-analytical method, since it allows us to observe and formulate the results of the participants' experiences. According to the interviews, the life story and experiences, the results were written. In conclusion, the life stages of each of them, their way of living, and events that they have had to overcome throughout their university life were evident. The experiences of the participants are a small sample that does not intend to make generalities, but that happens to many women in several parts of the world.

Conflicts of interest
A conflict of interest exists when an author (or author's institution), reviewer, or editor has personal or financial relationships that inappropriately influence their actions (those relationships are also known as two commitments, where interests or loyalties compete). Not all relationships represent a certain conflict of interest. On the other hand, the potential for conflict of interest can exist regardless of whether an individual believes that the relationship affects scientific judgment of her. The Revista de Trabajo Social asks the authors for an explicit declaration of the existence of possible conflicts of interest. Authors must include it in the Acknowledgments chapter, located prior to the References. In the event of conflicts of interest with a peer reviewer, the author who submits a new article will have the opportunity to inform on the virtual platform the name of the person who does not wish to participate in the arbitration. This information will be kept strictly confidential.
The Editorial Team reserves the right to publish the information disclosed by the authors about possible conflicts.
