The personality of Pablo Neruda’s “The Furies and the Sorrows” protagonist has always been a mystery, until Hernán Loyola unveiled her identity in 2011: Eva Fréjaville. These pages try to enlighten this French intellectual through her biography and also through some of her essays, especially Marcel Proust from the tropics.
