Abstract

The song to the elements, from a visionary point ofview, is the axis Gabriela Mistral 's writings, both in verse and prose. Her ascetic poetry has her proper topic in nature and the natural elements, which the poet vividly illuminates through her visionary poetics, transforming them into mirrors ofthe soul 's landscapes
